This workshop is available to all levels, including beginners! The workshop will focus on simplifying floral oil painting from initial composition sketch to color mixing, shape and texture and final details. We’ll be using brushes and a palette knife to achieve the many layers and texture that you see in my paintings. I will do a demonstration at the beginning of class and then we’ll get right to it! I keep the class small so I can give as much individual attention as possible.
Students will work from photographs and prints provided by me but you’re welcome to bring some of your own as well.
